See OB Gyn: At 20yo the vaginal opening should Easily allow a tampon to enter. Since you have had problems with this, see an OB Gyn for an exam to determine that your muscles are not spasmed or that the pelvic opening is adequate. This will allow an accurate assessment of your own situation and determine corrective actions, if needed. Good luck
