Maybe/not: It would be more difficult to plan a conception if your cycles were less predictable. However, many have this problem & are quite successful in having a family. I know of one mom who only had 4 menses/yr but had the 3 kids she desired within a 4 yr period. I would not worry about the issue until you try for a year without success.
