Boil : Hello, from the details you gave, especially pulling hair out of the lump, it is very likely that you may have a boil (furuncle or carbuncle) which is an infection of the hair root. The lump may contain fluid that may need drainage. I'll suggest that you see your doctor to help you with that, with or without antibiotic.
