Carotid ultrasound: Velocity is how fast blood the blood is flowing thru the carotid. Like a River the narrower it is. It is more narrow on the fastest side. Discuss with the dr who ordered it. At your age unusual to have a narrowing in carotid unless your are a smoker and have high cholesterol or have other unusual problems.
