On birth control for years, just increased my levothyroxine medication. last month period was super light (unusual) & this month period basically nothing. ive never missed a period before & my thyroid is better controlled now than before. ideas ?

Common : It is not rare to miss a period while on birth control. If you are concerned about pregnancy you can take a pregnancy test at home. Obgyns do not get worried when a patient missed one period while on birth control.

See below: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
