No effect: Commonly used antibiotics, antacids, or laxatives do not make it easier to get pregnant nor make it harder to get pregnant, regardless of whether they are taken before, during, or after sex. In other words, they have no noticeable effect on one's chances of getting pregnant. If worried about possible pregnancy symptoms, a home pregnancy test is very accurate by 3 weeks after sex.
