I have a phobia that i will rip and artery in my body, specifically in my neck and/or back. is this a valid phobia? is this something i should worry about? am i at higher risk because i have whiplash and a herniated disc?

CBT: Health anxiety is an obsessive worry about developing or having serious medical condition even it it isn't likely. A herniated disc or whiplash in the past would probably not cause your fear to go to fruition. Have you considered cognitive behavioral therapy if you find this concern occupying very much of your time?
