See your PCP first: Before you see a specialist, you should have a basic evaluation by your PCP. They can evaluate your pain and twitch and do some basic imaging and then recommend a specialist based on the results. Most neck pain is caused by poor posture causing muscle spasms, or pinched nerves in the neck.
