I had a laparoscopic surgery on the 1st sept 2020 to remove a cyst. my period ended on the 1st sept day of surgery. but now i havent seen my period all month. im 10 days late and pregnancy test is negative. i have abdominal pains. whats wrong?

Hormonal fluctuation: The Ovaries are the organ that produce the majority of female hormones. Any surgery involving the female organs can cause changes in the hormones which regulate your cycle. Irregular periods are very common as your body re-regulates the various hormones during the healing process. As to the Abdominal pains, check with your surgeon. Some are expected post-op, but severity matters.
