Does midol lighten period? i just started taking midol for the first time and my period has been very light and i'm not sure if that's normal, it has never been like this before?

No, but...: Different people can have different responses to drugs. Women who take ibuprofen (as in Advil or Motrin) may have some lightening of periods due to anti-inflammatory effects of ibuprofen. Midol's 4 products contain acetaminophen (not ibuprofen) and are not expected to cause lighter periods. A teen with occasional lighter periods is usually not a problem. One can call her doctor if feeling worried.
