Yesterday my boyfriend had a pimple on his eyelid, near/on the tear duct. this morning he woke up and the inner part of his eye lid and underneath it is swollen/red - we think it might be a blocked tear duct. are there ways to treat this at home?

Lid swelling: This is probably a chalazion or a sty. If near the tear duct can cause some problem to the tear duct. This usually is not permanent. You can try warm compresses to the area 5 minutes several times a day. However you should see an ophthalmologist for a complete diagnosis and full treatment..
