I had a pimple near the tear duct on saturday,and sunday my eye was swollen and it worse on monday nd tuesday. i went to the dr on moday he gave me betamox and chloramex but i am not getting better,something is bitter when i swallow and snot out?

Ophthalmologist: If you haven't been seen for this problem by an ophthalmologist, do so. If you have, see him/her again as infections in this area of the face can lead to dangerous complications. Chloramex is only suitable for nonserious, superficial eyelid problems and betamox, in my opinion, would not be the antibiotic of choice for your potentially serious problem.
