Wound evaluation: For wounds that are longer than 2cm or deep enough that they go past the full skin layer, sutures may be necessary to limit bleeding or close the defect. If the wound is in the Trunk, any penetrating injury requires emergency attention. For head trauma, a person should be evaluated by a Dr then carefully watched. Any suspected broken bone or eye trauma requires a Dr's exam.
