Late periods ?'s: Irregular or "late" periods may be due to polycystic ovarian syndrome. Endometriosis is also a cause of severe cramping and abdominal pain. See your gyn physician to determine the cause, and ask about low dose bcp's which will preserve fertility, and diminish the pain associated with your menstruation.
