Yeast infection: Yeast and bacteria can be part of normal vaginal flora. Their growth is kept in check by the environment and by each other. If you take antibiotics, numbers of bacteria are reduced and yeast has a chance to overgrow. People with diabetes are more prone to yeast infections. Tight clothes, moisture, health conditions, and other causes can also make you more prone to yeast and bacterial infections.
