Hope not: When using birth control pills, one's withdrawal period happens when one is on the placebo (inactive) pills. There are no hormone medications in the placebo pills, which means her body's hormonal levels drop (she is going through a few days of hormone "withdrawal"), which leads to shedding of the inner lining of her uterus and thus she has period-like vaginal bleeding.
