See doc: She needs to see doc for full exam xray possibly MRI or emg. Arthritis can cause pain but burning, numbness or tingling suggests nerve involvement.

It depends: She should be evaluated by a vascular surgeon. The pain and the burning could be related to a number of different issues but she needs to find out if the circulation to the leg is intact or not.
