A member asked:

Ptt level of 20 sec(low compared to the control time of 30sec per the lab), pt time 12.2sec(high per the lab),inr of 1.11,prothrombin ratio 88%, platelets 242 giga/l. p.s:i have nafld and sgpt 64ui/l.is there a liver problem related to coagulation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: Liver disorders would prolong the clotting parameters, not shorten these. In fact the shorter times than normal are questionable. It would be appropriate to discuss the results with the doctor who ordered the tests. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.
