A member asked:

My period used to be regular at usually 30 days but for the past 5 months it changed to 37/38 days. is this normal? am i ovulating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Menstrual cycle: The menstrual cycle length average is about 28-35 days. The key to your question is even though your cycle is longer, does your period last longer or is it lasting about the same with more days before your period starts. If you do not have bleeding between periods and your period is regular in timing, you are probably ovulating. You should talk with your doctor many things can affect your cycle.
