A member asked:

I have had literally hundreds of panic attacks. would all that do serious damage to my heart? i recently had an echocardogram that showed no evidence of wall or ventricle thickening or wall motion abnormalities?

No Damage: Conceivably, rapid heart rate and elevated blood pressure during a panic attack could cause some minor damage, that is why your Dr preformed the ECHO- to monitor your heart. Since it showed no abnormalities, it seems that all those attacks have not damaged your heart. If there was any damage they would be able to detect it.
