Chlamydia treatment: You don't say how many doses of doxycycline you'll be taking or for how long. If you have been prescribed it for several days, this dose definitely would cure chlamydia if you had been infected, or prevent it from taking hold. However, doing this for less than 4-5 days may not be effective.
