A member asked:

My doctor put anxiety usnpecified (icd-10 - f41.9) as my diagnosis. i asked the nurse why unspecified was misspelled, but she said it was something prefilled and not their fault. she apologized for the system. is this correct? anyone heard of this?

Spelling: As a doctor - I know that I do make spelling errors at times & at other times there are typo's. I am not sure if there was an error in the coding spelling or not. However, both systems & providers may not be perfect.
