Bleeding@6w pregnant: Bleeding at six weeks or so with a documented positive pregnancy can occur b/c the placenta is not making enough progesterone. Miscarriage can also cause the bleeding. See your OB physician who will do a quantitative HCG test and ultrasound. If the pregnany is viable, he/she may start oral progesterone.
