A member asked:

I left a new package of birth control on the dashboard of my car for 20-30 mins at about 4:30pm in 80 degree weather. it was still in the bag from the pharmacist and then in all the original packaging inside the bag. is it still safe to take?

No worries: Birth control pills are not that fragile. They stay the same in hot weather or cold weather and keep working the same way. Pills are made of dry powder, so as long as they stay dry, changes in weather temperature don't make any noticeable change in their effectiveness.
