Is it too soon to be treated for gonorrhea and chlamydia? i had both.gave oral to bf the day before i found out. i got treated. he went to the doctor 4 days after i gave him oral. he took meds just in case. was it too soon for him if he was infected?

STD treatment: Your doctors (or your partner's doctor) did exactly the right thing. There is no such thing as being treated too soon for gonorrhea or chlamydia, and it is recommended and proper to treat exposed persons without waiting for symptoms or lab test results. Treatment is just as effective no matter when it is given.
