What causes the patella to shift off track laterally? if you have a weak lateral tendon would it make it worse?

Patellar tracking : Causes can be mal formed patella femoral groove or muscle/tendon imbalance. Regardless, see a PMR doc or orthopoedist for consideration of bracing or surgical repair to prevent injury and maintain knee functioning. Good luck
