How effective are face shields over a filtered mask? i am a teacher and we will likely be going back with students soon. i want to know how protected i will be?

Basics: The face shields are designed to deter germs that might enter through the sensitive tissues of your eyes. The mask capabilities depend on the type of mask. Neither you nor the kids are in a risk category for those who become infected. I see little if any evidence that face shields are worthwhile outside the ICU or ER where cases are treated.
