Handwashing: Washing compulsively and much too often (many times a day) can cause very dry skin that can become inflamed, cracked and susceptible to infection. If no such problems, and especially if you use a moisturizing soap or cleanser, probably no harm will come. It's rarely necessary for good health to was more often than every few hours, unless in contact with other persons, dirt, or contamination.
