Reflux & diet: Carbonated drinks, alcohol, acidic juices (like tomato, orange or grapefruit) or caffeinated drinks like coffee can worsen reflux. Cut down on fatty food as well as catsup, mustard, vinegar, pepper & spicy seasonings. Don’t eat at night, make meals smaller & don’t lie down for 2 to 3 hrs after eating. Avoid Nicotine.
