Sprain foot : Usually there is a traumatic event where you twisted it while running/ getting off the curb. There will be pain, less motion, swelling . You need an xray to make sure you did not break a bone If not broken bones are found it is assumed to be " sprained " soft tissue injury but that needs to be treated . Can try aircast/ or walking boot depending how bad or crutches for a few days. F/U/w/MD
