Every year in september i feel very tired and this year is particularly bad. i also wake up in the middle of the night. i normally have a high drive for work etc, but this is also very low. could i have "spring fatigue" and what can i do about it?

Allergy?: You may have something similar to "Spring fatigue" like you called it however it seems as if what you may be allergic to is in fall rather than in Spring. You are the best doctor in this situation in terms of avoiding the triggers, use air conditioner to cut down on what may be in the air that is affecting you. Get enough rest and fluid and count your blessings.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Wish you good health!
