Mental health care: Start with your family physician. He/she can make the appropriate referral.

Counseling: Many people are stressed with current Covid problems, job loss and family issues. First step is to find a sympathetic ear from a good friend, clergy, medical social worker, or psychologist. Sometimes hearing yourself discuss these problems helps YOU to categorize them in to smaller solvable tasks vs an overwhelming morass of problems. Psychiatrists can prescribe meds, but doubtful that is enough.

Counseling & : exercise. You ought to seek care from a psychiatrist. Exercise helps as much as medication. Try to exercise in the morning and it will make the day go better. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!

Depression & anxiety: Start with a medical evaluation to rule out medical causes of your symptoms. Medications are sometimes indicated. Talking therapy to include Cognitive Behavioral therapy or psychotherapy can be effective. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hours of sleep per night & good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies & 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing

Depresson&Anxiety: In addition to the other good advice you received about starting psychotherapy, your family doc may be able to refer you to one. Also, you can call your state psychological association and they can provide referrals or likely have a website w/a search engine to find licensed psychologists. Peace and good health.
