No doubt.: You could give a baby of any age water, just make sure it is good water that is not contaminated in anyway. Some people would use cooled boiled water to avoid inadvertent use of bacterial contaminated water.

Yes....but..: An infant that age gets all the fluid they need in breast milk or formula. Supplemental water is not needed. However, I do support an occasional offering as a way for in-laws/best friends to participate in the bonding experience,
