A member asked:

Im 10 weeks pregnant and blood pressure is 133/90. is this considered very high? normally have lower blood pressure. is this an indicator of it going up?

BP: In pregnancy, BP tends to get slightly lower than our baseline blood pressure due to effect of progesterone hormone. 133/90 is a bit concerning at 10 weeks of concerning as it may keep rising. Make sure the BP is checked correctly. If after couple of readings, it continues to be high then your doctor will likely prescribe you medication for it. Take care.
