HPV and kissing: Oral HPV is much less common than genital, so for that reason alone, kissing is low risk. Even if oral infection is presaent, it's usually localized to the throat, and kissing my not be risky. Whatever the reasons, it is very rare for kissing (even prolonged, open mouth) to transmit HPV. That doesn't mean it never happens, only that it's extemely rare. Nothing to worry about.
