What is going on? as of now have herpes 1, i don't have any sores but at times my throat feels like something is draining or leaking down, also have that random"something is stuck" feeling. my chin/jaw inside my mouth hurts but no visible sores.

Sore throat : What is described does not seem like herpes. May be post nasal drip for allergies or alternatively from reflux. Would try famotidine and omeprazole as well as zyrtec and see if it helps. Due to jaw and chin pain which may be teeth grinding or TMJ or mass /would follow up with dentist and ENT ( ear nose throat doctor) to make sure there is no other process involved like peritonsillar abscess
