Eat a banana see if you rblood sugar goes up too high or because of the fructose quantity it grows the wrong bacteria in your GI tract that will make you gain weight and increase inflammation. No reason: People with diabetes can eat almost anything, but they need to eat fewer calories than they burn off, so they can lose weight. Bananas have decent nutrition and moderate calories as part of a well-balanced diet.

Bananas: The American Diabetes Association says you can eat bananas w Type II Diabetes. 1 medium sized banana has 27 gm of carbohydrates & only 1.29 gm of protein. So, you need to be judicious.
