Low risk, maybe zero: A brief social kiss carries little or no risk. Prolonged (sexual) kissing is higher risk. In both cases, the risk of course is highest if your infected partner had an active oral herpes outbreak at the time; if not, very low risk. Also, at age 20 there's at least a 20% chance you already have had HSV1 (usually in childhood). Most people don't know it. If so, you're immune and won't get it again.
