Addicted=no: If Child & Family Services orders testing on any newborn for drug exposure I can find it from a single cocaine exposure at 19 wks. I do not rely on cord blood for my investigation. Some facilities use maternal pee or cord blood to screen, but I do not since it may not find evidence of early exposure.
