A member asked:

I had a low ldh test which was 100 the normal was 120 how do you interpret this value, and what is the ldh test used for?

Low ldh: Low LDH levels are generally insignificant except in rare genetically determined cases where muscle fatigue can occur because of faulty breakdown of sugar in muscle cells. High LDH levels are important and can be due to heart failure, certain anemias, liver, kidney or muscle disorders. You should have no worries if you have none of these conditions.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it may reflect a low muscle mass. Wish you good health!
