No: There have reports of CATS in China that have tested positive for COVID 19. However, very few pets in the US have tested positive. I know of no verified cases where a pet transmitted COVID 19 to an owner, person. The risk would not likely be from a cat one meter away - if would be if the cat was licking the mouth/ face of someone or their contaminated fur was petted. No cases to date.
