See your gyn: Your current period is probably heavy because you missed the prior one. However, you should see your doc to find out why your bleeding is irregular.

See your OB/GYN : There are many reasons for irregular vaginal bleeding such thyriod causes, abnormal lining of uterus as polyps or enlarged uterus due to fibriod tumors, or it could be due to hormonal imbalance.You should see your gynecologist to get pelvic ultrasound and some blood work to find the exact reason
