See a doctor: Before you got to,therapy you must determine why numbness exists in the toe. While this could be a spinal cord or spinal nerve issue, these are unlikely causes due to the limited symptoms. Probably caused by foot/nerve injury; regardless, correct diagnosis is needed before treatment. Call you doctor or podiatrist for an examination. Good luck

On first day of physical therapy it was painful walking heel to toe and my foot swelled up is this normal?
