My mum who had a stroke 17 months ago ishaving physiotherapy when she is standing up her stroke effected side leg an foot really hurt is this normal?

Abnormal: Any pain is abnormal except maybe contraction pain during delivery, but in any case not pleasant!!! I think your mom might have developed contractures (muscle shortening and atrophy) after the stroke. It is normal for her hopefully get better with time.
