Trichomoniasis: Trichomoniasis is one of the most common STI. Only about 30% develop any symptoms of trichomoniasis, so the majority of carriers will be asymptomatic. the second question is debatable, before it was considered a STIn it was thought that was cause by a disequilibrium of the normal microbiome and growth of the parasite.
