Can epidermoid cysts be oval or pill shaped instead of round? or is that more likely to be two epidermoid cysts meshed together? if it isn't causing any pain or irritation should i even be concerned? i'm almost confident this is an epidermoid cyst.

Probably yes: Epidermis cyst are smooth walled, fairly soft, & often move easily beneath skin & are not tender (unless they become inflamed or infected) They are most often round but could definitely be oval or elongated in shape at times. Yours could definitely be that, but if it enlarges or becomes red or painful have Dr check it
