I have a mark around my lips. after brushing my teeth from the outside of my mouth from being a germaphobe which i know i shouldnt do and will no longer. can it be from this? how do i make it go away its very noticeable. its a whitening toothpaste

Possibly: If the mark occurred after the toothpaste was introduced to your skin, then yes, it was most likely caused by your "outside the lips" brushing. I suggest you use the toothpaste and toothbrush as it was intended, which is inside your mouth and on your actual teeth. The burns from the toothpaste ingredients will heal on their own Do not further irritate your skin.

You can't: You can't clean your teeth from the outside of your mouth. The toothbrush has to actually wipe the bacteria offyourteeth, so it must come in contact with your teeth. You may have damaged your skin by having t-paste abrade your skin. Please see 1) a Dentist for an evaluation and professional cleaning, and 2) a Dermatologist to evaluate your skin.
