I have pop-rock like popping in my ribs and continous pain/aching. i had an x-ray a little under a month ago and everything was "normal". how concerned should i be?

Crepitus: Crepitus, describes any grinding, creaking, cracking, grating, crunching, or popping sound in an area of the body. It can indicate that there is a rib fracture, an area of air under the skin, or fluid in the lung. See your Dr for further workup, especially because of the continued pain.
