About a month ago i was at the doctor and he had blumen hand sanitizer in the exam room. i used a little as i waited for him to come in. blumen is on the recall list. i used it once. am i in danger? this is a nightmare. no recalls at the time!

Sanitizers: A number of hand sanitizers that were labeled as containing ethanol or isopropyl alcohol, tested positive for 1-propanol. The problem is that sometimes people ingest sanitizers for it's alcohol content or young children may ingest it. If you did not ingest the hand sanitizer - you should be fine.

Agree with Dr. F: Another problematic ingredient has been methanol. However, on time use on hand is not a cause for concern. Wish you good health!
