Many conditions can result in hypoxia including, but not limited to, lung conditions like acute asthma, copd, pulmonary embolism, etc., cardiac conditions like congestive heart failure, acute mi, valve abnormalities, etc., musculoskeletal conditions like als, diaphragmatic paralysis, etc. Hypoxia can lead to anxiety!

Lack of Oxygen: "hypoxia" simply means low oxygen levels. This can be from a large number of things: infections, heart attacks, reactions, clot to the lung, etc. Lack of oxygen can definitely cause anxiety. If you think you have hypoxia, definitely get checked out by a doctor right away.
